Hello, and welcome to my long-awaited Creative Impressions blog! 

 

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by two hard working, loving parents.  As I was muddling my way through adulthood, I met and married the love of my life 33 years ago.  As a military family, we would spend the next 10 years living overseas and having two amazing children.  

 

It was while I was on maternity leave that I was introduced to stamping and Stampin' Up! products.  I was totally hooked from that moment on.  Over the next, insert gasp...30 plus years, I have made cards, gifts and lots of scrapbooks.  In fact, I still have the first stamp sets, I purchased.  Anyone remember when you cut the rubber and mounted them on the wood blocks?

 

After several pack outs, relocations and months without my Stampin' Up! supplies, I realized how therapeutic my hobby was for me.  Our final move was to Eastern Ohio where we bought our forever home, raised our kids and I continued to perfect my stamping hobby.  

 

Since planting our feet in Eastern Ohio, my children grew up, graduated, went to college and then, a few years ago I gained a son-in-law and along came two beautifully healthy grandbabies.  Let me tell you, grandbabies make life grand!  You may just see them, along with Crafty Cat Callie stamping with MiMi from time to time.  

 

At long last, I am a Stampin' Up! Demo knowing this is EXACTLY what I want to be doing.  I hope you will join me in my "Creative Impressions" blog journey.  I have a lot to share with you and hope to provide inspiration on your stamping journey.
