Today as I reminisce about the past 30 years of stamp sets and how much stamping has changed over the years; I am sharing a couple of the cards we made in our Christmas Stamp-A-Stack in September. It is always so much fun to stamp with friends! If you would like to join October's Christmas Stamp-A-Stack class just click on the Calendar link to sign up for the class. If it won't let you RSVP to the event; the class is full.
This card used a retired stamp set and dies: Embellished Ornaments. I used my Stampin' Blends to color the small ornaments, smokey slate ink to stamp the big ornament and cut it out; then I embossed the cut out with falling snow then popped it up to give it dimension and added some ribbon. I love how this card turned out.
One of my attendees wanted something a little more whimsical. So I chose a retired stamp set called Merry Mice and used Stampin' Blends to make them pop with bright in colors.
