Hello, my crafty friends! This week I have several Free tutorials for multiple sized square Shadow Boxes. I absolutely love making 3D projects, so I am excited to share the instructions with you. This is super easy to put together and is very sturdy. There are multiple ways the box can be presented and shows off your creativity. Be sure to download the PDF file that shows the layout/cutting dimensions for assembly. Let's get started.
8 1/2" Square Shadow Box
Base: 8 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Four pieces of 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" scored @ 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2" (gives a 1" frame)
On the 3rd score line make a tick mark @ 1" on both sides. Then from tick mark to the second score line draw a line. (see picture.)

7 1/2" Square Shadow Box
Base 7 1/2" x 7 1/2"
Four pieces of 7 1/2" x 3 1/2" scored @ 1/2", 1 1/4", 2, and 2 3/4" (gives 3/4" frame)
3rd score line make a tick mark @ 3/4" on both sides. Then from tick mark to the second score line draw a line. (see picture.)

6 1/2" Square Shadow Box
Base 6 1/2' x 6 1/2"
Four pieces 6 1/2" x 3 1/2" scored @ 1/2", 1 1/4", 2", 2 2/4" (gives 3/4" frame)
At the 3rd score line make a tick mark @ 3/4" on both sides. Then from tick mark to the second score line draw a line. (see picture.)

Base 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Four pieces 5 1/2" x 2 1/2" scored @ 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2 (gives a 1/2" frame)

Four pieces 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" scored @ 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2" (gives a 1/2" frame)

Base piece 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Four pieces 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" scored at 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2" (gives a 1/2" frame)
3rd score line make a tick mark @ 1/2" on both sides. Then from tick mark to the second score line draw a line. (see picture.)

Assembly Instructions:
The picture below is for each of the four (4) sides of the shadow box. Place glue where indicated. Then adhere to the back of the base piece on all four (4) sides. Fold the remaining part forward forming a square on the front of the base piece and glue down to the front. Be sure to lean each piece into the next piece so there are not any gaps in the corners.
